CrewConnect — Terms of Use

Welcome to CrewConnect. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use CrewConnect.

1. Who can use CrewConnect

CrewConnect is intended for active airline cabin and flight crew aged 16 or older. You agree to provide truthful information when you sign up.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
One person, one account — please don't impersonate someone else.
You can delete your account anytime from Settings → Delete Account. Deletion permanently removes your profile, posts, recommendations, salutes, layovers, and presence data. This action cannot be undone.

3. User content + zero tolerance for abuse

You're responsible for what you post — text, photos, map points, comments, and the rest. By posting you confirm you have the right to share it.

The following is not allowed and will result in immediate removal and account termination:

Harassment, threats, hate speech, or content targeting a person or group.
Sexually explicit material, nudity, or content that sexualises minors.
Illegal activity, dangerous misinformation, or incitement to violence.
Spam, scams, or commercial solicitation outside the intended app uses.
Impersonation, doxxing, or sharing another person's private information.

CrewConnect reviews reports within 24 hours and removes objectionable content and the accounts that posted it.

4. Reporting + blocking

Every post, comment, recommendation, and profile in CrewConnect can be reported via the ⋯ menu. You can also block any user from their profile sheet — blocking hides their content from you everywhere in the app and prevents them from contacting you.

5. Location sharing

"Who's Around" is opt-in. When you tap Share, your coarse location (rounded to ~1 km) is visible to other crew for one hour. You can stop sharing at any time. CrewConnect never tracks your location in the background.

6. Premium features

Some features may be offered as a paid subscription via Apple's in-app purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

7. Liability

CrewConnect provides crew-shared tips and recommendations "as is." We don't guarantee accuracy of restaurant info, layover events, or any other user-supplied content. Use your judgment.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the new version. The current version is always available at crewconnect.app/terms.
